The Accounting curriculum provides broad-based knowledge and coursework with the goal of improving accounting competence among the Accounting majors. Practical applications are taught to allow the students to have the background and knowledge for career advancement in the field, as well as success in the CPA exam sequence. Students are provided the opportunity to assess ethical situations, to experience working in teams, and to express their understanding of accounting and related business situations through written and oral communication.
