McKendree University seeks applicants for a one year, temporary, non-tenure track faculty position in the Nursing Division to teach at various locations, beginning Fall 2014.  McKendree University offers a RN to BSN program, and a MSN program with nurse educator, nurse manager/administrator, and palliative care tracks.  The successful candidate may participate in both programs.

The position requires a Master’s degree in nursing with preference for a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, at least two years of clinical practice, two years’ experience in nursing education, and a current, unencumbered Illinois RN license.

Classes are taught at various locations throughout southern Illinois including community colleges and hospitals, and online. Preference will be given to those who have experience teaching in an online format.
