Assistant Professor of Biology

McKendree University seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology to begin Fall 2014.

The successful candidate must be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. We seek applicants with a primary interest in teaching and developing a two-semester sequence of human anatomy and physiology. Candidates are also expected to engage in ongoing research with undergraduates.  Additional curricular development in areas of expertise and general education areas is encouraged. The regular teaching load is 12 hours per semester.  The position requires a Ph.D. and prior college-level teaching experience.

McKendree, Illinois’ oldest college, is a selective comprehensive university with a liberal arts tradition located approximately 25 minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
