The McKendree University School of Business seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track
Assistant Professor of Accounting position to begin Fall 2012. McKendree University
offers a B.B.A. program with a significant general education component and several
majors, including a major in Accounting. The University also offers an M.B.A. program.
The successful candidate will participate in both programs. The position requires
a doctoral degree in Accounting or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates
with teaching experience who also have significant experience in business or industry
or with a professional firm. Preference also will be given to a candidate with a
C.P.A. certificate/license.
Day and evening classes are taught primarily on the University campus in Lebanon,
IL and nearby off-campus locations. In addition to teaching, School of Business faculty
advise students, engage in scholarly activity, and serve on School and University
committees. They also participate in the University’s wide-ranging extra-curricular
programs.
