Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management

McKendree University seeks a full-time Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at its Radcliff, Kentucky campus to begin January 2014.

The McKendree University School of Business offers a B.B.A. degree with a significant general education component and several majors, including a major in Human Resource Management. The School of Business also offers an M.B.A. The faculty member will participate in both programs.  Candidates must have PHR or SPHR Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management and either 1) a terminal degree in Management or related area of business or 2) a master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related area of business.  Preference will be given to candidates with significant professional experience in human resource management and prior college-level teaching.  Candidates with a terminal degree will be considered for a tenure-track position; all other candidates will be considered for a non-tenure-track position.

Blended and evening four-week and six-week classes are taught on the McKendree University campuses in Radcliff, KY and Louisville, KY.  Faculty participate in teaching, scholarly activity, and service to the University and community.
