Assistant Professor of Education

The School of Education seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member
whose scholarship and teaching reflect significant knowledge of research methodology
and P-12 curriculum design and instruction. The successful candidate will have an
earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution and be available to
begin August, 2013. Assigned duties and responsibilities will be primarily at the
specialist and doctoral levels and will include the teaching of research methodology,
techniques and strategies, as well as P-12 curriculum design and instruction. The
successful candidate will also monitor and evaluate the research requirements of doctoral
students. Other teaching responsibilities could include the teaching of Master’s
and Bachelor’s degree courses within the School of Education. Previous teaching experience
at the elementary or secondary and collegiate levels is desired.
