10:00 am to 4:00 pm – Chalk the Circle
Let the circle drive of the Piper Academic Building become your canvas when the McKendree University Campus Activities Board hosts the first annual Spring Fling Chalk the Circle Event. We want to start a new tradition for Spring Fling by celebrating the arts! It is completely free to enter. Unfortunately with the limited amount of spaces, entries will be first come, first served. We invite you to enjoy a wonderful day and show off your artistic talents.
Each square of the circle drive will be marked off so clubs, organizations, families, and other individuals may create colorful works of art by using sidewalk chalk. For more information, or to register for Chalk the Circle, please go to: http://www.mckendree.edu/StudentLife/chalk.aspx or contact the Office of Campus Activities at: 618-537-6856.

8:00 pm – Band: Dave Matthews Tribute Band, Trippin Billies
www.trippinbillies.com; www.myspace.com/trippinbillies
Born in the pubs on the north side of Chicago, reminiscent of Luther’s College, Trippin Billies took to the “stages” of these small rooms in the early nineties as an acoustic duo. It wasn’t long before lines grew to long for the small bars and calls started coming in from around the Midwest. As a result the band was forced to rise to the occasion, and they’ve done just that. Having the luxury of living in a city called home to many great musicians, Trippin Billies is comprised of some of Chicago’s best. This talent coupled with their mutual love of high energy performance has moved them above the bar band circuit and into concert settings. Whether it’s a club in Iowa City, a Hockey arena in North Dakota or a summer festival in Rochester, New York or Lincoln, Nebraska, the show is always the same, just that, a show.
