Cedar Ridge
Cedar Ridge is a local nursing home in Lebanon. Students socialize with the residents, paint nails and organize other activities. It's a great way to meet other people and complete your service hours! We meet on the stairs to Upper Deneen every Sunday at 2:45 P.M. and are done by 4:30.
*New! Meet the Coordinator!*
Beth Schwierjohn is a Junior majoring in Elementary Education with a specialization in Math and Middle School Math Endorsement. She is a Religious Studies minor and is also involved with Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and Newman Ministries. In her spare time she enjoys reading books, spending time with her family and baby-sitting.
Beth's favorite aspect of Cedar Ridge is "interacting with the residents. I really enjoy seeing a smile on the residents' faces when the group walks in to the facility. I have also become good friends with the residents."
