PLAY CAMPUS ACTIVITIES BOARD'S "24" CONTEST!
The following events occur between 8am and 11pm. Sorry – You don’t get to be in a counter-terrorist organization and save the world each week. You do; however get the opportunity to become one of 24 people who can win cool prizes for attending events at McKendree University!
HOW TO PLAY:
1. Pick up your 24 card in the CAB Office (located in Lower Deneen), Piper Academics Center Lounge, or Ames Dining Hall. Make sure that you fill out the card completely. Print your name on your card as soon as you get it. If your card is not signed, it will not get punched!
2. Eligible events may include CAB, Athletic, Fine Arts, Intramural, or other campus sponsored events. Events may be added to the schedule, so check the website or your campus email!
3. Each card has 5 event areas. Get your card punched at each eligible event you attend. There may be opportunities to get a bonus punch on your card. Check email for details on bonus days.
4. To get your card punched, you must come to the Campus Activities Board table, or the ticket area for the event.
5. Once your card is filled, it must be turned in at the CAB Office in the Lair. Completed cards must be turned in by 9am of the drawing date to be eligible.
6. To get additional chances, you may complete another card. The more cards you fill, the more chances to win prizes!
7. Each month, there will be a drawing for a prize for those who have turned in completed cards
a. There will be a total of 4 monthly drawings
i. Feb. 1
ii. March 3
iii. April 1
iv. May 1
b. The winner of each drawing will receive an entry into the final Grand Prize drawing during the Student Affairs Pancake Study Break at the end of the semester.
c. If there is no winner (winner does not claim their prize or we do not have cards turned in), the prize will carry over to the next month’s drawing.
8. Cards may not be combined with another to make a full card.
PRIZES:
Grand Prize: $500 Cash or Book Bonanza: $500 off next semester’s books – spin the Prize Wheel
Second Prize: I-Phone (valued at $399)
Third Prize: $200 in Gas Cards ($40 each month for the Following Semester)
Fourth Prize: $50 Cash
(16) Fifth Prizes: $20 Gift Card to a local business or restaurant
(4) Monthly Prizes: Prizes will vary each month. Winner will get an automatic entry into Grand Prize Drawing
HOW TO WIN:
1. Attend as many eligible events as possible. CLICK HERE FOR A LIST OF EVENTS! the list is always changing, so check back often!
2. Turn in your completed card at the Lair.
3. The final drawing for prizes will be held at the Annual Student Affairs Study Break for Finals Week. Winners must be present to claim prizes (after all, it is an attendance contest!).
ADDITIONAL CONTEST RULES:
Contest is only open to full-time, registered students at McKendree attending eligible McKendree events. Only completed cards will be accepted as official entries for the contest. Cards with incomplete contact and verification information will not be accepted (no exceptions!). Book Bonanza Prize: If winner will be graduating at the end of the semester, prize may be substituted for similar prize value gift certificate. Prize is for class books to be used for the following semester. Cash value is representative of cost of books. Should books cost less than $500, Book Bonanza Prize will reflect that amount. Students will not be refunded any monetary difference. Contest rules, prizes, and availability subject to change. Campus Activities Board is not responsible for lost or misplaced cards.
