ALPHA PSI OMEGA National Honorary Theater Fraternity Michelle Magnussen Mary Britton, President
Alpha Psi Omega is the national honorary theater fraternity. McKendree’s Alpha Theta cast is one of the oldest in the country. The fraternity exists to honor students who have contributed to the theater program at McKendree and to foster an awareness and appreciation of theater in all McKendree students. Students earn points towards induction by participating in productions as actors or technical crew.

NURSING HONOR SOCIETY RN to BSN Program Nursing Honor Society has student, alumni and faculty membership. The society recognizes superior achievement and the development of leadership qualities, fosters high professional standards, encourages creative work, and strengthens commitment to the ideals and purposes of the nursing profession.

Pi Gamma Mu is the international social science honor society. The society recognizes good scholarship and promotes excellence by enriching service projects, publications, a scholarship program, and guest lecture grants to chapters.
PHI ALPHA THETA History Honor Society Dr. Irwin Halfond Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honor society, promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication, and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians.
PHI BETA LAMBDA Business Service Club (PBL) Dr. Brian Parsons Phi Beta Lambda is an organization of students interested in various aspects of business. Any student who is taking business courses or who is a business major can be a member. The club has organized speakers on campus, field trips, social events, competitions, and public service activities.
PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society (PKP) Dr. Tami J. Eggleston Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor society. Phi Kappa Phi differs from most other honor societies because it draws its members from all academic disciplines and represents the best and brightest from the community of scholars. Membership is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by the local Phi Kappa Phi chapter.

Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology. It is open to junior and senior psychology majors who rank in the top third of their class and have completed at least 9 hours in Psychology. . Psi Chi was founded in 1929 to provide academic recognition to students and to nurture the spark of that accomplishment. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychology Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).

Business Honor Society Dr. Roger Smalley Sigma Beta Delta is an honor society for students pursuing a baccalaureate or master's degree in business, management, or administration.
SIGMA TAU DELTA
English Honor Society Dr. Ron Black Sigma Ta Delta is the international English honor society. Its purposes are to confer distinction for high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate and professional studies; to promote interest in literature and the English language on local campuses and their surrounding communities; and to foster the discipline of English in all its aspects, including creative and critical writing.
