Phi Kappa Phi

McKendree University Chapter 292 of Phi Kappa Phi took in 84 new members during its seventh initiation ceremony, on Friday, Apr. 16 in the Russel E. and Fern M. Hettenhausen Center for the Arts.

"To recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others."

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor society.  Phi Kappa Phi differs from most other honor societies because it draws its members from all academic disciplines and represents the best and brightest from the community of scholars.  Membership is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by the local Phi Kappa Phi chapter.  Each spring the McKendree University Chapter 292 will invite outstanding students to join Phi Kappa Phi.
