What is it?  The Feinstein Challenge is a national food fundraising drive during the months of March and April to benefit local hunger relief agencies in communities across the country.

How does it work?  Local hunger relief agencies each get their percentage of Mr. Feinstein's $1 million that reflects their percentage of the total money raised by participating agencies, in addition to the money raised by participants.

Who participates? Everyone and anyone!!  There are no age restrictions for participants.

What can I do? Participants need to donate canned goods or money.  McKendree's goals for 2007 are 2000 foodstuffs from students (around 2 per student) and 1000 from faculty and staff (around 5 per person).

What good does that do?  Feinstein’s past $1 million challenges to fight hunger have raised a record $620 million for agencies nationwide.
