Lebanon Care Center

What is it? Lebanon Care Center is a local nursing home just five minutes away from McKendree.

What's involved? Students talk, play bingo or bowling, throw parties and just have a good time.  This is a great opportunity to socialize and interact with residents at Bohannon Nursing Home.

When is it? Sundays from 1:30 to 3:00.  We meet at the stairs to Upper Deneen at 1:15.

Why would I want to do that?  "It's wonderful interacting with the residents and making new friends. They all have so much that they can tell us, and to be able to give them an opportunity to socialize is wonderful. So few people have someone that just wants to talk to them; and by going to Lebanon Care Center, we are able to provide that connection." ~Kari Gibbs
