Kappa Sigma Tau was established in 1978 as a national sorority called Gamma Sigma Sigma. In 1992, we were re-established as Kappa Sigma Tau,the largest local social sorority at Mckendree. We believe in Friendship, Service, and Equality and hold sisterhood very close to our hearts.  Kappa Sigma Tau creates sisters that last a lifetime and memories that last even longer.

As a community service sorority, we believe that community service not only helps our environment and our fellow human beings, but shapes us into the women that we are destined to become.   Some of our biggest projects include Adopt-A-Highway and Operation Christmas Child. Our highway is located on Highway 50 between Lebanon and the Moto-mart.  Twice a semester we, as sisters, clean our highway together.  Not only is it helping our environment, it helps all of us sisters bond as a family.  Operation Christmas Child is an organization that sends out shoe boxes to less fortunate kids in other countries.  Each sister is required to make at least one shoe box.  These are just a few of the projects we do here at Mckendree.

Community Service is not the only thing us sisters do! We host the best parties on Campus and all our proceeds go to either the fight against Breast Cancer or Autism.

Not only do we have the largest sorority on campus, but we have the most and the hottest BIG BROTHERS!
