Sarah Vowell

 Vowell is the author of four best-selling books, including 2005’s Assassination Vacation, a contributing editor for public radio's This American Life and a frequent guest on Comedy Central's Daily Show with Jon Stewart.  She is a sharp-tongued observer of American culture, a devotee of Americana and a sought after speaker.  Well known for her voice acting and deadpan delivery – she portrayed teen super-hero Violet Barr in the Academy Award winning animated film The Incredibles – Vowell is a radio favorite and has legions of fans.
