Donna Brazile
A FREE presentation of The George E. McCammon Memorial Distinguished Speaker Series
February 7, 2008
7 p.m.

Just days after presidential primaries in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, California, Texas, New Mexico and New York, the nation will be buzzing about Election '08 and Donna Brazile, a veteran Democratic political strategist, will visit McKendree. Brazile, a senior fellow at the University of Maryland’s Academy of Leadership, was recently appointed national chair of the Voting Rights Institute, the Democratic Party’s major initiative to promote and protect the right to vote. Brazile served as the Campaign Manager for Gore-Lieberman 2000, making her the first African American woman ever to manage a major presidential campaign.
