Music Recruitment Events

The Department of Music at McKendree University is very active in recruiting students to become part of an exciting program. Check back often to see the most up-to-date information of where you can see the recruitment team and meet with us!

The recruitment team attends numerous fall marching band competitions, including the Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival at the Edwards Jones Dome each year. During the winter months, the recruitment team travels to different conventions, such as The Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Missouri Music Educators Association Conference in Osage Beach, and Illinois Music Educators Association in Peoria. In the late winter and spring months, the team travels to winter guard competitions to promote the Heritage Winter Guard.
